At 9:30am on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026
&
At 1:00pm on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026

Join Janae and Chris for an in-depth, on-farm workshop exploring how we prepare our working flower farm for winter and set it up for a strong season ahead.

This session is designed for gardeners, flower lovers, and aspiring growers who want a practical understanding of what happens on a flower farm once the busy growing season slows – from succession planning and soil care to winter feeding, pest management, and no-dig planting.

You’ll walk through the farm with us as we talk through real decisions, systems, and lessons learned from growing flowers in the Daylesford & Macedon Ranges climate. Questions are encouraged throughout.

What we’ll cover:

  • What’s currently planted
  • Succession planting and seasonal timing
  • How we support and feed our flowers through winter
  • Soil protection, composting and mulching
  • Organic and low-intervention pest control
  • Preparing beds the no-dig way
  • Hands-on planting of our no-dig tulips

The workshop finishes with time to warm up in the flower shed with refreshments and further discussion.
